Javier de la Torre es fotógrafo profesional de Madrid (España), que empezó su pasión por la fotografía desde que era niño, jugando y aprendiendo los fundamentos de la fotografía con las cámaras de su padre.
Actualmente, Javier viaja por todo el mundo buscando la mejor luz posible para sus fotografías. En esta búsqueda, Javier descubrió las Auroras Boreales en el 2011. Desde entonces quedo atrapado por su belleza y se ha convertido en un "Cazador de Auroras".
Sus fotografías han sido galardonadas alrededor de todo el mundo en prestigiosos concursos como el Trierenberg Super Circuit, The International Photography Awards, Sony Photo Awards, The International Landscape Photographer of the Year, Global Arctic Awards Epson Pano Awards, etc...
Su trabajo también ha sido publicado en diferentes revistas y periodicos como N-Photo Magazine, Camerapixo Nature Magazine and the Daily Telegraph entre otros. Sus fotografías han sido utilizadas por diferentes marcas comerciales como Red Bull, Microsoft, Google, etc.. Se ha especializado en la formación fotográfica realizando cursos en distintas partes del Ártico además de los talleres de edicion fotográfica que realiza por toda España a través de su empresa PhotoeXperience4U.
Javier de la Torre is a professional Spanish photographer based in Madrid, who started his passion for photography when he was a child, playing and learning the photography basics with his father’s cameras.
Nowadays, Javier travels around the world looking for the best possible light for photography. In this quest, Javier discovered the Northern Lights in 2011. Since then, he has been captivated by them and has become in an “Aurora Borealis chaser”.
His photographs have been awarded all over world in different international photo contest as the Trierentberg Super Circuit, the International Photography Awards, Sony Photo Awards, the International Landscape Photographer of the Year, Global Arctic Awards, Epson Pano Awards, etc…
His work has also been published in different magazines and newspapers in Europe such as N-Photo Magazine, Camerapixo Nature Magazine and the Daily Telegraph among others. His photographs are being used by different commercial brands, as Red Bull, Microsoft, Google, etc He is specialized in teaching photography workshops in Arctic areas in addition to the workshops that he organizes around Spain teaching very innovative post-processing techniques that he has been refining for 20 years.
